Role – Senior Frontend Developer (React, typescript)

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React, JavaScript and TypeScript to join our development team.

Your primary focus will be frontend development, working closely with the Lead Developer as a core part of the delivery team. You will contribute to the frontend architecture and development while working across frontend/backend interfaces and API integrations. Experience with UI and API test automation would also be valuable.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets and external systems.
• Ensure applications meet requirements for security, scalability and performance.
• Deploy, operate and maintain applications within a cloud environment.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and design discussions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring within the team.
• Collaborate with backend developers and other team members to ensure effective integration across the technology stack.
• Contribute to UI/API testing and test automation where required.

Required

• Minimum 7 years of total IT-related experience, with proven professional frontend development experience.
• Expert-level experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and the integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with state management technologies such as Redux.
• Experience working within modern software development and delivery environments.

Highly valued experience includes:

• DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• UI test automation using Cypress, Playwright or similar tools.
• Experience developing or maintaining map-based applications/tools.
• MongoDB, Docker and Git.
• Using AI-assisted development tools such as AWS Kiro.
• Efficiency and cost engineering.
• Jira and Confluence.
• Facilitation and collaboration tools such as Mural, Miro and FigJam.
