ManoMotion is a Swedish deep-tech company developing cutting-edge AI and computer vision technologies that enable machines to understand human movements and intentions. Our solutions are applied across industrial safety, robotics, and human-machine interaction.

We are looking for a Junior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development and deployment of real-time AI-powered solutions on embedded platforms.

In this role, you will work with C++, embedded Linux, camera systems, and AI model integration, collaborating closely with our computer vision and machine learning engineers. You will contribute to software development, hardware integration, system testing, and real-world customer deployments.

• Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience with C++ and/or Python through academic projects, internships, or professional work.

• Good understanding of embedded systems, software development, and hardware-software integration.

• Familiarity with sensors, electronics, and basic laboratory equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

• Ability to develop, test, debug, and document software running on embedded hardware.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on engineering mindset.

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary engineering team.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Experience with embedded Linux, particularly NVIDIA Jetson platforms.

• Familiarity with RGB, infrared, or depth cameras and sensor integration.

• Basic understanding of computer vision, machine learning, or AI model deployment on embedded devices.

• Experience with real-time processing, performance optimization, or edge AI applications.

• Familiarity with Git, debugging tools, and software testing on physical hardware.

• Experience with robotics, automation, industrial systems, or human-machine interaction.

• Previous hands-on experience through internships, research projects, or personal engineering projects.

• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, embedded technologies, and solving real-world engineering challenges.

• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take ownership of technical tasks.

• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team where you can make a meaningful contribution.
