THE OPPORTUNITY IN A NUTSHELLYou? A curious, hands-on iOS developer who loves a real challenge. You aren't looking to just tweak edge cases, you want to take ownership of a product, overhaul a demanding user experience, and turn it into something excellent.Role? You’ll take ownership of native iOS experiences across our vehicle transaction flows. Working in a cross-functional team alongside Android, Product, and UX, you'll contribute directly to product discovery, drive mobile best practices, and help simplify complex car transactions into smooth, step-by-step app journeys. Tech stack? Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, SPM, CombineCompany? Vend, home to Northern Europe's most iconic marketplaces, including FINN, Blocket, Tori, Oikotie, DBA & Bilbasen. Millions of people connect on our platforms every day to make life-changing decisions: buying a home, finding a job, or purchasing their next car.Location? Join us in either our Oslo or Stockholm office with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week: your choice, your balance.

WHO ARE YOU?

• Experienced iOS developer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience
• Fluent in English. Clear communication is key in our international, cross-functional team.
• Proactive and responsible, someone who steps up when needed and takes ownership of their work.
• Team player who loves to collaborate, share knowledge, and learn from others.
• Quality-focused, taking pride in writing clean code and testing thoroughly to ensure smooth user experiences.
• Product minded with a keen eye for great mobile UX. You enjoy sitting with product managers and designers during discovery to prototype and shape the end product.
• Outspoken, comfortable challenging ideas and contributing to open, honest discussions.

WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?Day-to-day work & projects cookingDay-to-day tasks involve experimenting, developing features to enhance user experience, and improving the quality and functionality of the overall product. We work on several areas of the transaction journey, and as a team member you’ll be a key collaborator with product UX by participating in the discovery process and help come up with the best solutions.Not everything is cotton candy clouds, so here’s the main opportunity to improveSometimes we run into obstacles and we might need to reprioritise, which is why it’s important that you as an individual are able to adapt to a fast paced environment, and provide input when you identify areas of the product that can be improved.On the other hand, this brings along a great opportunity to leave your fingerprint on how the product is drafted!
