As an affiliated researcher joining an existing project, you will be expected to independently and together with the other researchers in the project contribute to:
Your profile
The successful candidate will have built a research agenda during their PhD, as evidenced by publications or conference papers, in the broad field of migration and integration. Their general disciplinary background should be within the social sciences, preferably in sociology or management with a focus on migration and integration. They master quantitative methods and have a very good understanding of survey experiments.
Candidates should thrive in a collaborative environment while driving their contribution to the project independently. The applicants must hold a PhD by time of employment. They have shown ability and ambition to publish manuscripts in highly ranked, international scholarly journals. We expect the candidate to relocate to Stockholm and to be physically present in the office.

About the Center for Migration and Integration Research
The Center for Migration and Integration Research (CMIR), housed at the SSE House of Governance and Public Policy (GaPP), aims to create a platform to support the sustainable integration of third-country nationals in Sweden. Together with key stakeholders in the migration and integration process, experiences and insights are researched and incorporated into a systemic perspective. The Center emphasizes the importance of the collaboration of multiple stakeholders in the governance of migration and integration, at multiple levels, and focuses not only on employment, but also on other dimensions of sustainable migration and integration. The research team collects, creates, and disseminates multiple-actor, science-based knowledge on the governance of migration and integration in Sweden for societal and social sustainability.
