We are now looking for an analytical and product-driven Buyer to join our Menswear team in Stockholm. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of Buying, Planning and Product Coordination, shaping assortments for international markets while supporting ARKET's growing wholesale business.

Job Description

As a Buyer, you will play a key role in connecting Buying, Design, Wholesale and regional teams to ensure that our product assortments deliver against customer needs and commercial goals.

This position combines strategic assortment planning with product-focused buying responsibilities and requires someone who enjoys working with both analytical insights and product decisions. Approximately half of your role will focus on coordinating assortments and commercial offerings for key Asian markets, primarily China and Korea, while the other half will support ARKET's wholesale business by preparing product selections, presentations and assortment recommendations for external partners.

Working across multiple functions and stakeholders, you will take significant ownership of your area and help drive clarity and structure within a developing function. This is an opportunity to influence how the role evolves while contributing to the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate product assortments and commercial offerings for regional markets, with a focus on China and Korea
• Act as a key link between Buying, Design, Business Controllers and local market teams
• Support the development and execution of product strategies based on customer insights, market needs and commercial priorities
• Manage and communicate assortment updates and collection changes to relevant stakeholders
• Partner closely with the Wholesale team to prepare product presentations and selling assortments for wholesale partners
• Analyse sales performance, assortment productivity and commercial opportunities to drive informed product and business decisions.
• Drive structure and coordination across multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and contribute to the ongoing development of the function
• Ensure product offerings align with both market requirements and ARKET's overall commercial objectives

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial awareness with analytical thinking and a genuine passion for product.

You are highly organised, comfortable working independently and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy collaborating across teams, influencing stakeholders and finding practical solutions to complex challenges.

We would love to meet someone who has:

• Minimum 3 years' experience within Buying, Merchandise Planning, Product Development or a similar commercial product-focused role
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data to support business decisions
• Experience managing assortments, product ranges or commercial planning activities
• Ability to build strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• A proactive mindset with the confidence to work independently and take ownership
• Strong interest in fashion, product and customer behaviour
• Experience working with wholesale businesses is beneficial but not essential
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools and retail planning systems
• Experience using Centric or wholesale-related systems is considered an advantage

Additional information

This is a full-time, fixed-term position based at our Head Office in Stockholm, offered on a 12-15 month contract.
