At Bladins International School of Malmö (BISM), we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Physical and Health Education (PHE) and English Teacher to join our Middle Years Programme (MYP) for a one-year parental leave cover, starting in January 2027.

About Bladins International School of Malmö

Bladins International School of Malmö (BISM) is an IB Continuum School located in central Malmö. We offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) to approximately 370 students representing a wide range of nationalities and cultures. The Role

As a PHE and English Teacher in our MYP, you will plan, teach and assess students in PHE and English and contribute actively to their academic, social and personal development.

You will work closely with colleagues within the relevant subject teams and across the school to provide engaging, inclusive and high-quality learning experiences for our students.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging MYP lessons in PHE and English

• Assessing and supporting students' learning and development

• Creating a safe, inclusive and motivating learning environment

• Adapting teaching to meet the different needs and abilities of students

• Collaborating closely with colleagues and contributing to subject and school development

• Building positive and professional relationships with students, colleagues and families

• Contributing actively to the wider school community

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a qualified and committed teacher who is passionate about teaching and student development.

You are:

• A qualified teacher, preferably with teaching qualifications in PHE and English

• Passionate about creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences

• Skilled at building positive relationships with students

• Collaborative and comfortable working as part of an international team

• Committed to inclusive education and meeting the needs of different learners

• Organised, flexible and able to take responsibility for planning, teaching and assessment

• Committed to continuous professional growth

Previous experience of teaching within the International Baccalaureate (IB), particularly the MYP, is an advantage.

Since English is the working language of the school, you must be able to communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
