WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Marketing Controller Lead, you will play a key role in shaping how marketing investments drive business growth. You will lead the governance, performance tracking, and strategic steering of marketing investments across paid media, owned media, and content production, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximise business impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the strategic planning, governance, and allocation of marketing investments across channels in line with business priorities and growth ambitions.
• Driving a holistic view of marketing performance, connecting channel performance with commercial outcomes and long-term business impact.
• Defining, implementing, and continuously improving KPI frameworks that enable consistent measurement, benchmarking, and optimisation across marketing functions.
• Consolidating performance insights into clear and actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
• Partnering closely with Marketing Strategy & Steering, Finance, and the Head of Marketing Controlling to ensure alignment between investment decisions, business goals, and growth objectives.
• Driving cross-functional collaboration to strengthen transparency, accountability, and effectiveness across the marketing organisation.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be part of the Marketing Controlling organisation and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Strategy, and Business Steering functions. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing Controlling and partner with leaders across Paid Media, Owned Media, Content Production, and Marketing Strategy to ensure investments are generating measurable business value.

You will also lead and support a team of talented controllers, helping them grow while creating alignment across functions and markets.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for a strategic and analytical leader with a strong understanding of financial steering, marketing performance, and business impact.

You have:

• Several years of experience in controlling, finance, business performance management, or marketing controlling.
• Proven experience leading teams and developing high-performing talent.
• Strong knowledge of marketing investments, performance measurement, and business impact evaluation.
• Experience working with KPI frameworks, reporting structures, and performance governance models.
• The ability to translate complex financial and performance data into clear business recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across multiple functions and seniority levels.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong partnerships across an organisation.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting insights to senior leaders.
• A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
