We are looking for a Director Business Support Functions and Operations to play a key role in strengthening Saab's global business development organization. In this position, you will lead the development of governance, operational excellence and business support capabilities, ensuring that our international organization works efficiently, consistently and in line with Saab's overall strategy.

As part of the Group Business Development (GBD) Office, you will lead a newly established team and drive common ways of working across regions, Business Areas, Business Units and Group Functions. Your mission is to create the conditions for effective collaboration, strong governance and efficient operations, enabling our global business development teams to focus on building customer relationships and driving business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing Saab's global business support functions and operational processes.
• Establishing governance frameworks, performance management and common ways of working across the organization.
• Driving alignment and collaboration between Country Managers, Business Areas, Business Units and Group Functions.
• Improving organizational effectiveness through process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting senior management with reporting, analysis and decision-making material.
• Promoting the effective use of digital tools and systems that strengthen collaboration and transparency.
• Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team.

The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Security, Legal, Tax, Information Management, Digitalisation and other Group Functions. Regular international travel is required.

We are looking for a confident and collaborative leader with the ability to combine strategic thinking with strong execution. You thrive in an international environment, build trust across organizational boundaries and have a proven ability to drive change and improvement.

You bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Management or a related field.
• Extensive leadership experience within Business Operations, Business Support, Organisational Development, Business Management or a similar area.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in global or matrix organisations.
• A strong background in governance, operational excellence, organizational effectiveness or business transformation.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.

It is considered an advantage if you also have:

• Experience from the defence, aerospace, industrial or other complex international environments.
• Experience of developing governance frameworks, reporting structures and business support functions on a global scale.
• Knowledge of digital business systems and organizational performance management.

As a leader, you are driven, structured and solution-oriented. You build engagement through trust and collaboration, and you are comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
