AI/ML Backend Developer – Level 1

Our consultants work on assignments with some of Sweden's most well-known companies — including ASSA ABLOY and Talent Venture Group — on everything from agentic AI solutions and RAG architecture to scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

The Role

We're growing and looking for more AI/ML-oriented backend developers to join our consultant team. As a Level 1 consultant, you'll join client assignments where you build backend services and APIs that power AI functionality — working closely with, and learning directly from, some of the industry's most experienced AI architects and tech leads. It's a great entry point if you want to build a career in AI engineering.

Examples of what you might work on:

• Building and maintaining backend services in Python (e.g. FastAPI)
• Getting hands-on with LLM integrations, RAG patterns, and early steps into agentic AI
• Working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) alongside senior engineers
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Taking part in architecture and requirements discussions, with plenty of room to learn

Who We're Looking For

You're early in your career as a developer. You don't need prior professional experience with AI — but you should have genuine curiosity about the field and a solid foundation in backend development.

We think you have:

• Around 3–5 years of experience in backend or software development (internships and junior roles count)
• Working knowledge of Python (or strong willingness to pick it up quickly)
• A basic understanding of REST APIs, databases, and cloud services
• Genuine interest in AI/ML — maybe you've already experimented with LLMs, RAG, or ML in personal projects or coursework
• A relevant degree in computer science/IT, or equivalent experience
• Good communication skills in English and Swedish
