AI/ML Backend Developer – Level 2

Our consultants work on assignments with some of Sweden's most well-known companies — including ASSA ABLOY and Talent Venture Group — on everything from agentic AI solutions and RAG architecture to scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

The Role

We're growing and looking for more AI/ML-oriented backend developers to join our consultant team. As a Level 2 consultant, you'll take on client assignments with a good degree of independence — building backend services and APIs that power AI functionality — while still working alongside, and picking up patterns from, some of the industry's most experienced AI architects and tech leads.

Examples of what you might work on:

• Building and maintaining production backend services in Python (e.g. FastAPI)
• Integrating LLMs, implementing RAG patterns, and contributing to agentic AI solutions
• Working independently in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including infrastructure-as-code
• Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and following DevOps practices
• Contributing to architecture discussions and technical decisions on client engagements

Who We're Looking For

You're a few years into your career as a developer and comfortable taking ownership of your own deliverables. You don't need to have led AI projects before — but you should already have some hands-on exposure to the field, whether professional or self-driven.

We think you have:

• Around 3–5 years of experience in backend or software development, including production environments
• Solid skills in Python (or a comparable language such as Java, C#, or Node.js)
• Practical experience with REST APIs, databases, and cloud services
• Genuine, hands-on interest in AI/ML — for example, you may already have worked with LLM integrations, RAG, or ML pipelines, professionally or in your own projects
• A relevant degree in computer science/IT, or equivalent experience
• Good communication skills in both English and Swedish
