WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an SAP Application Expert, you will be responsible for configuring, testing, and supporting SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions across transportation planning, execution, freight costing, and settlement processes. The role requires solid functional expertise in transportation management processes, master data configuration, integration testing, defect analysis, and business support throughout implementation, rollout, and hyper care phases.

Key Skills and Responsibilities that are part of your daily work

• Configure and maintain SAP TM master data, including locations, business partners, carriers, transportation zones, lanes, resources, and freight agreements.
• Configure and support transportation demand management, including Freight Unit Building Rules (FUBR), transportation requirements, and demand consolidation.
• Configure and test transportation planning processes, including freight unit planning, carrier assignment, route determination, consolidation, and Freight Order creation.
• Configure and support Freight Order lifecycle management, transportation execution, status management, and shipment tracking processes.
• Configure freight charge management, including rate tables, calculation sheets, freight agreements, surcharges, and freight cost calculation.
• Configure and support freight settlement processes, including Freight Settlement Documents (FSD), cost allocation, invoice verification, and financial integration.
• Support carrier onboarding, tendering processes, and carrier collaboration activities.
• Perform functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect analysis, and validation of end-to-end transportation processes.
• Support integration testing with SAP S/4HANA/ECC, EWM, SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L), and SAP GTT where applicable.
• Analyse and resolve production issues, support business users, and participate in cutover, deployment, and hyper care activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and support documentation.

You will work with a team of highly skilled professionals on H&M Group’s advanced SAP platform, which supports operations worldwide. The role offers plenty of room for learning, development, and participation in various initiatives. Together we stive to achieve end to end visibility of our Transport & Trade flows to enable proactive, data-driven decision making.

Your mindset and skills

We believe you bring solid experience in the SAP Transportation Management area, with solid knowledge of system design, concepts, principles, and configuration. You are confident in explaining SAP Transportation Management (TM)-related topics to both team members and stakeholders across the H&M Group.

You are confident in working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You are self-driven, proactive and take accountability with analytic mindset.

You have excellent communication skills so that you can communicate information clearly and effectively.

Mandatory requirements, both competence and tools:

• Solid hands-on SAP TM configuration experience (7+ years).
• Proficiency in Freight Unit Management, Transportation Planning, Freight Order Management, Freight Charge Management, Freight Settlement and SAP TM Master Data configuration.
• Proficiency in end-to-end transportation processes, including inbound, outbound and Transit.
• Proven experience in supporting carrier onboarding, tendering processes, and carrier collaboration activities.
• Proven experience in writing functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and support documentation.
• Proven experience in SIT/UAT execution, defect management, and business process validation, including integration testing with SAP S/4HANA/ECC, EWM and SAP BN4L,
• Strong ability to communicate SAP TM topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the H&M Group.
• Experience with SAP transport and change management tools, such as STMS, Solution Manager, and ActiveControl.
• Experience in developing WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) from a functional point of view.

Additional beneficial competences:

• Experience working in global SAP rollout and transformation programs.

Language Skills:

• Fluent in English.
