This is an open posting for upcoming consultancy opportunities, with typical assignments lasting between 6 months and a year. In this role, you will play a key part in developing novel formulations and innovative delivery systems. Specific responsibilities and tasks will vary depending on the assignment, but will involve hands-on laboratory work as well as safety and compliance work. You bring a fundamental understanding of formulation science and the ability to work independently as well as contribute your expertise in cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and run laboratory experiments, including performing equipment maintenance
• Follow all safety guidelines and SOPs strictly, using protective gear and maintaining thorough, accurate documentation of your work
• Collect experimental data, perform basic analysis to identify trends or variability, and maintain clear records using digital tools (like ELN/Excel)
• Work effectively within a team, communicating clearly and managing your time well across multiple experiments

Qualifications

Essential for the role:

• A BSc or MSc in chemical, mechanical, pharmaceutical, or materials engineering/science, or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience
• Ability to plan, set up and run experiments
• Practical experience working in a laboratory setting, including routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Safe handling of chemicals, risk assessments, PPE, adherence to SOPs and good documentation practices
• Familiarity with HPLC/UHPLC methodology and experience working in a GMP/GLP environment
• Proficiency in English and Swedish (written and verbal)

Desirable for the role:

• Experience in pharmaceutical development or manufacturing
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization
