We are looking for a Senior Software Developer for an exciting consulting assignment within the automotive industry. In this role, you will work with modern cloud-native technologies across the CNCF ecosystem and contribute to the development and evolution of a complex, production-grade platform that serves as a centralized control plane for infrastructure components.
As our ideal candidate, you have deep Kubernetes and Go expertise, hands-on experience with production-grade GitOps workflows using Argo CD, and strong operational knowledge of running large-scale, enterprise infrastructure. You will work closely with platform, infrastructure, and developer experience teams to design and operate scalable, secure, and highly observable systems in complex production environments.
Previous experience working within Platform Engineering or Developer Experience (DevEx) teams is highly valued.
Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
Deep understanding of Kubernetes APIs, controllers and extensibility
Deep expertise in Go (Golang) development, including backend services, APIs and controllers
Experience with Crossplane, including composition and function development
Experience developing and maintaining Kubernetes Operators
Strong knowledge of GitOps and Argo CD
Experience with observability tools and Grafana Cloud
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure
Strong operational understanding of large-scale, enterprise-grade infrastructure
Experience building and maintaining complex, production-grade platforms, including infrastructure control planes
