Nordic Investin has been engaged by a partner company to find a Finance Manager. You want finance to close accurately, explain performance clearly and help the business make better decisions before the month is over.

The partner needs a hands on finance manager to lead accounting, reporting and business support for a significant operation. You will create control and pace across the monthly cycle while developing the team and improving the information used by operational leaders.

Finance leadership is expected to protect trust in the numbers while improving the quality and pace of business decisions. Strong performance combines control, commercial judgement, clear priorities and development of the people delivering the work.

You will combine leadership of the finance agenda with direct engagement in important decisions and exceptions. The partner expects clear standards, useful challenge and enough technical depth to support the team when judgement is required. Improvement must strengthen both control and service.

As a manager, you will balance delivery, professional standards and development of the people around you. The partner expects clear priorities, timely decisions and leadership that remains present when work becomes sensitive or operationally difficult. You will be accountable for both outcomes and the environment used to achieve them.

• Lead monthly close, reporting and financial control.

• Manage, coach and prioritise the local finance team.

• Partner with operational leaders on performance and decisions.

• Own budget, forecast and cash flow coordination.

• Strengthen internal controls, reconciliations and process quality.

• Lead audits and collaborate with group finance specialists.

• Broad finance management experience.

• Strong accounting, reporting and controlling foundation.

• Previous people leadership or clear team lead responsibility.

• Ability to explain financial outcomes to operational stakeholders.

• Experience improving finance processes and controls.

• Professional English; Swedish is useful in local operations.

• Manufacturing, logistics or service operations.

• ERP transformation or shared service collaboration.

• Qualified accountant or relevant university education.

You may have developed through accounting, audit, financial control or business control before taking broader leadership responsibility. The partner values leaders who can review the detail, identify what matters and help the team improve without becoming the bottleneck.

The role offers broad ownership and direct access to operational decision making. You will influence both the quality of the numbers and the confidence with which leaders act on them.

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional credential if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
