We are looking for a Junior Software Developer who wants to grow in modern software development and help build digital solutions for restaurants and foodtech.

This role is for you if you have a solid foundation in programming and want hands-on experience building, testing, and maintaining software with experienced developers and other team members.

You’ll work across multiple product areas and contribute to solutions used in everyday restaurant operations—such as POS, online ordering, kitchen screens, self-service kiosks, payments, and integrations.

About the role

As a Junior Software Developer, you’ll be part of our development team—developing, improving, and maintaining our digital products.

You’ll participate in the full development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and planning solutions to writing code, testing, troubleshooting, and following up on deliveries.

You’ll work closely with senior developers, product owners, QA, and other team members to deliver solutions with high quality, great user experience, and stable operations.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain features in our web and backend solutions.
• Write clean, structured, and testable code.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot and analyze bugs in development and production.
• Write and update unit and integration tests.
• Contribute to building AI solutions.
• Work with APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Review code with colleagues and give/receive feedback constructively.
• Continuously improve development practices, code quality, and documentation.

What we’re looking for

• Post-secondary education in software development, computer science, or equivalent knowledge.
• Basic programming experience (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, or similar).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and core software architecture.
• Basic knowledge of databases, REST APIs, and Git version control.
• Understanding of testing, debugging, and agile development methods.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
• A drive to learn, take ownership, and grow with the team.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, Node.js, Java, TypeScript, or other modern frameworks.
• Experience with cloud services, CI/CD, or containers.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, or message-based integrations.
• Personal projects, open-source contributions, or relevant internship/work experience.
• Experience building web applications, SaaS solutions, payments, POS systems, or e-commerce platforms.
• Interest in AI tools and how they can be used for development, testing, and product innovation.
