Nordic Investin has been engaged by a partner company to find a Senior iOS Engineer Swift. You notice the difference between an app that technically works and one that earns a place in a user’s daily routine.

The partner is investing in a native iOS experience connected to a broader digital platform. You will build product features in Swift, improve the application architecture and help the team deliver releases with confidence.

The environment will suit someone who enjoys building systems, testing assumptions in code and taking responsibility for production behaviour. Technical choices are expected to be explained in terms of maintainability, reliability and the people who use the product.

You will work in short delivery cycles with direct access to product, domain and operational colleagues. The partner expects engineers to review designs, test assumptions early and follow important changes into production. Decisions should be recorded clearly enough that another engineer can understand the tradeoff months later.

As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. The role still includes hands on delivery; seniority here means broader judgement, not distance from the work.

• Create native iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI.

• Design maintainable modules, navigation and state management.

• Integrate APIs, authentication, notifications and local persistence.

• Improve performance, stability and accessibility across supported devices.

• Expand automated tests and streamline App Store delivery.

• Collaborate with design and backend teams on complete user journeys.

• Strong professional iOS development experience.

• Advanced Swift and solid knowledge of Apple frameworks.

• Production experience with SwiftUI and asynchronous programming.

• Understanding of secure mobile storage and network communication.

• Evidence of testable architecture and disciplined release practices.

• Professional English and constructive technical communication.

• Experience with regulated or identity sensitive applications.

• Mobile analytics, experimentation or feature flags.

• Shared mobile architecture or cross platform evaluation.

You may have built consumer subscriptions, financial services, mobility products or internal field applications. We value engineers who understand Apple’s ecosystem while challenging patterns that add complexity without helping the product.

You will influence a product that users carry with them, supported by colleagues who care about craft and operational quality. The assignment combines immediate feature delivery with meaningful architectural work.

You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
