About the job
Within Connectivity Platform in R&D, we build products that enhances the customer experience of owning a car. Our teams develop connectivity products and services for our vehicles – connecting anywhere and anytime!
We are looking for people to strengthen our HW Release team within Connectivity Platform, be the driver for hardware release and configuration to support hardware and documentation deliveries from Connectivity Platform.
As a Lead Engineer, you have below responsibilities:
Hardware release activities:
• HW signing and HW release towards project milestones
• Release HW Part Numbers and Documentation for every HW release milestone
• Design review
• Ensure KDP, TCPLM and TcE are aligned
• Facilitating HW release approvals, deviations etc.
Supplier management:
• Supplier HW release planning
• Supplier HW backlog management
• Supplier HW delivery follow-up
• QOP / Finance topics follow-up
• Supplier HW Joint Review (HWJR)
Factory and Aftermarket support:
• Support Factory and Aftermarket through deviations
• Support HW release in factory
New project support:
- Support sourcing process and documentation
Do you fit the profile?
We are seeking candidates, with product development experience from automotive industry, who exhibit flexibility, self-drive, reliability, and strong teamwork skills. We want to build self-organizing empowered teams that act proactively, that take responsibility for their deliveries and always strive to build a great product for the end customer.
You probably have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Computer science, Automation or equivalent with relevant experience. Having worked within the automotive industry with diagnostics, integration of software, software testing or managing/owning electronic components for release to production or similar is meritorious. Having an interest in our products and components, and a drive to learn and develop are very important qualifications.
You like to meet people and support the roll-out of our new technology. You are engaged with a curious, open-minded and positive approach. You like structure and have things organized and well planned. Fluency in English is mandatory.
