The International School of Kungsholmen is a globally-minded school in Stockholm that welcomes staff and students from all over the globe. We foster an inquiry-driven learning environment inspired by IB principles where English is the primary language of instruction. We strive to develop internationally-minded students who think critically, collaborate effectively, and embrace lifelong learning.

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable substitute for our First Grade Class Assistant to join our dynamic learning community for the 26/27 academic year. In this role, you will:

• Facilitate student-centered learning experiences that align with IB inquiry-based approaches.
• Support a structured and engaging classroom environment that supports student well-being and academic growth.
• Encourage students to develop independence, collaboration, and a growth mindset.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all learners.
• Lead individual and small group activities.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to guide student learning.

Who You Are

• Experienced with working with primary students in an academic setting
• Passionate about international education and inquiry-based learning.
• Skilled in classroom management and flexible in adapting to different student needs.
• Fluent in English (Swedish proficiency is a plus).
• Experience in the PYP Program is a bonus, but not required.

We are looking for a start in December or January depending on availability and need.
