About our team
Welcome to the Local Systems team. We add value by providing stable, efficient and innovative IT services in the core banking system areas such as Deposits, Payments, Customer data and Loans, serving nearly all other business areas of the bank. We are a team who loves to learn, collaborate, support each other and have fun at work.
About the Opportunity
As an Expert IT Developer you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing Nordea’s fundamental banking applications. You will deliver advanced technical solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. The team is in the middle of a generation shift and you will act as one of the technical leaders and work with a team of mixed ages and experiences with a lot of engagement for application development. There will be opportunities to collaborate with external parties and business partners to efficiently develop new solutions and execute changes in existing systems.
We are planning to strengthen scheduling (JCL, TWS and similar) knowledge within the development team and we look forward to see you as a part of this.
The position will be located in Stockholm, Sweden.

Experience in IT solution architecture and additional programming languages such as Java will be considered a benefit.
In order to enjoy and succeed in the role, you:
You have at least a bachelor’s degree within Computer Science, professional skills in the English language, both spoken and written.
