We’re looking for a Category Buyer for Services for a company in Gothenburg. Start is September 21st, 6 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.

Assignment description

We are looking for a professional Category Buyer for Services. The consultant will manage sourcing and purchasing activities in accordance with company processes and policies for selected service categories, including HR services, facility services, legal services, and other professional services. The role includes developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and acting as a Purchasing Business Partner for designated departments. The main objective is to secure the best overall value, quality, and contractual terms from external service providers.



Qualifications and skills required for the role

The consultant should have the relevant education, professional experience, and competencies required to perform the assignment independently and effectively.



• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.

• Minimum five years of experience in purchasing, including at least three years in service category.

• Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office tools.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and manage different stakeholder needs, and maintain relationship with external suppliers.

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to review spending data, cost breakdowns, supplier proposals, and business requirements.

• Solid understanding of commercial terms, statements of work, contract structures, and basic risk mitigation principles.

• Experience from service categories, such as professional services, corporate services, facility services, HR services, or similar areas.

• Fast learning ability, to quickly understand business needs and history background, supplier markets, internal processes, and to convert this knowledge into effective purchasing actions with limited onboarding time.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• The assignment may require occasional travel.

This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. Start is September 21st, 6 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.
