We’re looking for a Project Manager Purchasing for an automotive company in Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 4 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.

Description

As Project Manager Purchasing, you would be accountable to lead and monitor purchasing activities such as timely sourcing, vendor budget management, time planning, quality assurance, and risk management.

You will be a key player in cross-functional product development teams and will act and deliver within a large network, requiring strong collaboration with stakeholders around the world.

 You will also be the interface with the Purchasing line organization and work closely together to secure purchasing interests when building development roadmaps. You will interact with many other functions and departments, such as R&D, Quality, and production sites during the industrialization phase to secure first-class products for the end customer.



Competencies & Experience:

In this role, it is important that you have a strong ability to communicate in a cross-functional environment with many stakeholders. You also need a structured way of working with an analytical and logical mindset.



We also believe that you have:

• A university degree in Engineering/Technology and/or Business Administration.

• 2 to 5 years of experience within Purchasing and/or Project Management.

• Experience from the Automotive industry and/or managing large, complex projects.

• Ability to lead colleagues in a trustworthy and collaborative manner.

• Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on trust-based collaboration.

• Ability to face problems and act quickly and decisively while securing long-term targets.

• Knowledge of DVP product development methodology.

• Experience handling large amounts of data and extracting/presenting insights through tools such as Power BI.

• Knowledge of relevant enterprise systems is considered a bonus.



This role requires fluency in English.

This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. Start is ASAP, 4 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.
