About the job
As Competence Manager for Sales Applications, you take responsibility for securing the right competencies and capacity within the Sales Applications domain. You ensure that our application development and delivery teams have the skills, resources, and capabilities needed to support business priorities and drive digital solutions that create value for our sales and marketing operations.
You support the growth and engagement of your team while aligning competence needs with business priorities, technology roadmaps, and the future development of our Sales Applications landscape. You’re a member of the product area management team and report to the Product Area Manager for Sales, Marketing and Communication.

The position is based in Sandviken and offers a hybrid way of working, combining office presence with remote work.
Your profile
You bring a strong background in IT and people leadership, combined with experience from application development environments. You understand how modern IT organizations operate and how to build the capabilities needed to support business goals. Experience from agile ways of working and stakeholder collaboration is essential. Acting in a global environment calls for strong communication skills and fluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
Success in this position comes from building trust, creating engagement, and helping others perform at their best. You’re comfortable navigating change, balancing strategic and operational priorities, and fostering collaboration across teams and cultures.
