Gasum is a leading Nordic biogas producer offering both biogas production and availability on industrial scale. We have biogas production plants in Finland and Sweden. Biogas is a renewable fuel made entirely of biowaste. It allows our partners to reduce their CO2-emissions significantly and to shift from a linear to a circular economy. In addition to biogas, our plants produce recycled nutrients that are suitable for both agriculture and different industries. We’re now looking for a Head of Project Development & Execution based in our Linköping office.

We are looking for a experienced leader to lead our portfolio of strategic investment projects across biogas, traffic, and industrial businesses.

In this key leadership role, you will oversee project development and execution from concept to handover, ensuring safe delivery on time and within budget while supporting Gasum's growth ambitions. You will also lead a team responsible for maintenance and asset management activities across selected operational assets in the Nordic region.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Project Portfolio Management

Lead the development and execution of strategic investment projects across Gasum's biogas, traffic, and industrial business areas while also overseeing maintenance and asset management activities for selected operational assets across the Nordics.

This includes:

• Greenfield and brownfield biogas plant projects
• Traffic and industrial projects from execution to handover
• Feasibility studies, engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup
• Delivery of projects according to agreed schedule, budget, quality, and HSEQ requirements
• Procurement, contractor management, and contractual follow-up
• Permit management, compliance, and project reporting
• Development of project management capabilities and ways of working
• Management of investment subsidy applications and reporting
• Leadership of maintenance and asset management activities related to Gasum's traffic stations, customer terminals, trailers, and swap bodies across the Nordics, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations

Leadership & Financial Management

• Lead and develop a high-performing team
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Manage project and departmental budgets

What We Expect From You:

Education

• MSc in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline

Experience

• Leadership experience within project management in energy, process, or industrial sectors
• Proven track record of delivering large investment projects through execution
• Experience in contract and partnership management
• Experience from biogas, renewable energy, or related industries is considered an advantage

Key competencies

• Strong understanding of EPC/EPCM contracting and procurement
• Solid knowledge of construction and contract law
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen
• Skilled negotiator and stakeholder manager
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong focus on HSEQ and compliance
