About the RoleIn this role, you will help turn mechanical concepts into equipment that works in real conditions.
You will join a scrum team working with development of filling solutions in an advanced engineering environment where practical testing is a central part of the work.
You will stay close to the machines, test rigs, and development flow, acting as an important link between design and reality.
Through hands-on testing, equipment modifications, and close collaboration with engineers across disciplines, you will evaluate how solutions perform, identify improvements, and provide feedback that shapes future equipment.

Job Description- You will plan, prepare, rebuild, and commission test equipment and test rigs for development activities.
- You will drive practical development and verification work connected to filling technologies and equipment.
- You will execute physical tests and document results, observations, and recommendations in a structured way.
- You will define test methods, test setups, and evaluation criteria that support efficient development work.
- You will troubleshoot equipment, machine functionality, and test setups during ongoing development programs.
- You will work closely with development teams to turn concepts into practical, testable solutions.
- You will evaluate mechanical designs with focus on functionality, performance, maintainability, serviceability, user-friendliness, robustness, and fitness for purpose.
- You will challenge proposed design solutions from a practical engineering perspective and contribute to better technical decisions.
- You will support investments and upgrades in filling equipment and development test environments.
- You will contribute to verification and validation planning and help ensure that development tests are completed on time.
Requirements- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
- Strong practical hands-on engineering capability.
- Experience working with mechanical equipment, machinery development, testing, or commissioning.
- Experience planning and executing physical tests and evaluations.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and mechanical designs.
- A structured way of documenting test results and technical conclusions.
- Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken.
Nice to have- Experience from food processing, filling equipment, packaging machinery, or related industries.
- Knowledge of filling technologies or experience related to filling liquid food products.
- Experience with mechanical design review and constructive design feedback.
- Experience with machine rebuilds, installations, and commissioning.
- Understanding of product verification and validation activities.
- Knowledge of hygienic design principles.
- Hands-on or operational experience working with automation systems.
