Role Overview 🚀As an Integration Specialist at Benifex, you will play a key role in designing, configuring, and delivering integration solutions across our platform. You’ll work in a dynamic, agile environment, supporting our transition to an API-first methodology while ensuring reliable and scalable data flows for our customers. The role combines configuration, coding, and problem-solving, with opportunities to explore automation and AI-driven approaches. You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, acting as a technical anchor in delivering high-quality integrations.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build experience within IT and further develop their technical skills. We are looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and motivated to grow in a supportive environment.
This is a fixed-term position (September 2026 - July 2027). We have many employees who started with us in a fixed-term role and later transitioned into a permanent position.
Responsibilities 🤘
Design, configure, and maintain integrations between Benifex products and third-party systems.
Build and manage integration solutions within configuration layers and low-code platforms.
Ensure best practices are followed, including testing, documentation, and quality assurance.
Handle incoming requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate closely with other specialist roles in agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Continuously evaluate and improve integration solutions based on industry best practices.
Identify and implement opportunities using APIs and automation to improve scalability.
Relevant experience in a similar role or strong foundational knowledge (can also be from education or self-learning).
Understanding of APIs (REST or similar) and interest in API-first architectures.
Basic programming knowledge (e.g. Java, Python, C#, JSP - academic experience is sufficient).
Experience or interest in system integrations and handling structured data of varying quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with different stakeholders.
Comfortable working in an agile, team-oriented environment with a high degree of self-leadership.
Fluency in English; Swedish is a strong advantage.
Bonus points for:
Experience with low-code integration platforms such as Node-RED or MuleSoft.
Hands-on experience with API integrations in a professional setting.
