Projects and Planning EW is a key function within Production EW, responsible for driving production project execution together with production and material planning to secure efficient and successful deliveries.

As Manager Projects and Planning, you will lead an organization consisting of subproject managers, production planners, project planners and material planners. Your focus will be to build strong and high-performing teams while strengthening collaboration across Production, Procurement, Quality and Business Units in order to drive efficiency, transparency and execution capability throughout the value chain.

Your organization is responsible for planning and executing production and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in accordance with quality, time and cost targets, while also securing short-, medium- and long-term production planning and material availability.

Together with your team and stakeholders, you will continue to develop efficient ways of working, implement best practices and drive continuous improvements aligned with the division's strategy and future production demands.

Since the organization is a cornerstone in efficient production execution and future growth, you will work with a broad range of internal interfaces and stakeholders. Therefore, your daily work requires excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Your responsibilities in short:

• Translating Saab, Surveillance and Production FCC Järfälla strategies into clear and well-communicated targets for your organization.
• Leading according to Saab's organizational values.
• Full responsibility for results within your area, including safety and health, quality, delivery capacity, efficiency and finance.
• Coaching and developing abilities and competences within your organization and enabling employees to take on more complex and demanding tasks.
• Empowering employees through value-driven leadership.
• Securing on-time deliveries with the right quality and cost.
• Leading and developing project execution, production planning and material planning processes.
• Accountable for short-, medium- and long-term production and resource planning.
• Following up and reporting status of ongoing production and NPI projects.
• Driving capacity and resource planning within your area.
• Developing efficient ways of working, implementing best practices and driving continuous improvements.
• Maintaining and developing relations with relevant stakeholders across Production, Business Units and support functions.

More specifically, we believe that you have:

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Logistics, Project Management or other relevant education, or equivalent working experience.
• Minimum one year of leadership experience within relevant areas such as project management, planning, logistics, manufacturing or line management.
• Experience from project management in combination with production planning, supply chain or manufacturing.
• Proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging organizations, management teams and employees.
• Strong capability to combine strategic thinking with operational actions.
• Strong business understanding and customer focus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience from ERP systems (such as IFS).
• Excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English.
