BID SPECIALIST

The Opportunity
As a Bid Specialist, you will become a key player in our Sales Support Team, a close-knit group of five energetic and skilled colleagues. Your expertise in Bid Management will position you as the central point for creating winning quotes, cost breakdowns, and ensuring our prestigious customers, from individuals to global government agencies to receive best-in-class service.
This role blends active inside sales efforts, where you’ll nurture customer relationships, with bid coordination responsibilities, ensuring our documentation and responses meet customer needs with precision and punctuality.
Key Responsibilities Bid Management
· Own and drive bid responses from start to finish
· Create comprehensive quotes, pricing models, and documentation
· Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries
· Translate customer needs into tailored, competitive proposals
· Convert opportunities into successful, long-term partnerships
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with internal experts, sales teams, and external stakeholders
· Coordinate bids, contracts, and continuous process improvements
Sales Strategy & Development
· Develop tools, templates, and ways of working to increase efficiency
· Contribute to the evolution of sales processes and best practices
Technical Analysis
· Interpret complex technical requirements
· Propose suitable solutions for military, police, and government sectors
Customer Engagement
· Participate in customer meetings early in the sales cycle
· Build trust and understand business needs at a deeper level
· Travel expected: 20–30 days per year
Must-Have Experience
· Experience in inside sales, bid/tender coordination, or similar
· Ability to interpret technical, financial, and legal requirements
· Experience working with military, police, or government clients
· Strong communication skills: analytical, persuasive, and collaborative
· Excellent organizational ability to manage complex bid processes
Skills & Qualifications
· A university degree or equivalent experience
· Fluent in Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus)
· Strong technical skills in:
· ERP systems
· Microsoft Office
· Document management tools
· Solid understanding of financials and relevant legal frameworks
· Driver’s license (Category B)
Bonus Points If You Have
· Experience with police or military weapon systems
· A personal interest in hunting or sport shooting
The salary range for an Bid Specialist is SEK 45,000–55,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
