We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Manager for an exciting consulting assignment with a global company operating in the fashion and retail industry, based in Stockholm, Sweden. The assignment runs from August 2, 2026, to February 2, 2027.
About the Role
As a Commercial Manager within Tech, you will play a key role in shaping how technology creates commercial value across the organization. Operating in a complex and fast-moving environment, you will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to create clarity, drive progress, and deliver measurable results.
You will lead a global team of 14 commercial professionals located in Sweden and India, covering commercial advisory, software asset management, and commercial specialization within Tech. The role involves close collaboration with technology leadership, product and design teams, as well as a broad network of global suppliers and partners. You will report to the Head of Commercial & Procurement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a global commercial team through an inclusive and trust-based leadership approach
Create structure, priorities, and clear direction in an environment characterized by change and complexity
Support strategic sourcing initiatives, vendor selection processes, and commercial negotiations for key technology agreements
Ensure cost efficiency, value optimization, and strong commercial governance across the organization
Partner closely with product, design, and technology teams to translate strategy into execution
Monitor supplier performance and step in operationally when required to ensure successful outcomes
Develop and improve commercial and procurement processes to support future business needs
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers across a global ecosystem

Experience and Qualifications
Senior- or expert-level experience within commercial management, sourcing, procurement, or vendor management
Relevant academic degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
Extensive experience in technology sourcing, procurement, or vendor management within complex organizations
Proven track record of leading teams through change with a people-centered and steady leadership style
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience building business cases and managing vendor frameworks
Experience working with SaaS solutions, multi-vendor environments, and complex contract structures
Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

About the assignment
For this assignment you will be hired as a full-time consultant by Digitalenta. We offer our consultants a generous package including healthcare allowance, insurance policy, paid vacation days and pension savings.
