You will take a key role in shaping a major payments roadmap in a complex banking and financial services environment. This is a role for you if you combine deep payments knowledge with a strong architectural mindset and enjoy turning business needs into clear, scalable solution designs.

You will work across payment channels, payment processing, and reporting, helping teams move from target vision to practical implementation. The role spans both strategic architecture and hands-on solution design, so you need to be comfortable defining target and transition architectures while also getting involved in detailed design discussions with stakeholders close to delivery. It is a strong opportunity for you if you want to influence technical direction in a large organization where payments are business-critical and architectural decisions have real impact.

• You will drive and facilitate architectural work such as target architectures, transition architectures, architectural roadmaps, architectural runways, and end-to-end flows.
• You will lead technical decisions within the payments area and help create solution designs that support both business goals and long-term architectural direction.
• You will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Channel Owners, and development teams to shape solutions at both a high level and in technical detail.
• You will contribute across topics related to payment channels, payments processing platforms, and payments reporting, stepping in where your expertise creates the most value.
• You will present solution designs and architectural decisions to different stakeholders, adapting the level of detail to the audience.
• You will navigate a large organizational landscape with many stakeholders and help move work forward even when requirements or direction are not fully defined.
• You will work in environments that combine traditional waterfall project models with Scaled Agile ways of working.

• Strong and demonstrable foundation in banking, financial services, and payments products.
• 9+ years of experience as a Payments Solution Architect.
• Strong and demonstrable ability to define and align architectural deliverables such as target architectures, transition architectures, architectural roadmaps, architectural runways, and end-to-end flows.
• Strong and demonstrable ability to work in detailed solution design activities together with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Channel Owners, and development teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms including Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, and OpenShift.
• Experience with DevOps.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present solution designs and decisions clearly, also without going into full technical detail.
• Experience managing diverse stakeholders in large organizations and working effectively in ambiguous environments.
• Experience from both traditional waterfall project management environments and Scaled Agile environments.
• Fluent in English.
