You will play a key role in shaping anti-corrosion performance for vehicles developed for the European market. In this role, you will work across the full anti-corrosion area, from target setting and technical decisions to verification and issue resolution, helping ensure that vehicles meet demanding expectations for durability, quality, and market performance.

You will be part of a highly collaborative environment where anti-corrosion work connects closely with attributes, body, and chassis teams across different vehicle models. The role also includes a broader market and research perspective, where you will help assess regulations, environmental conditions, customer demands, and competitor solutions in Europe. • You will lead anti-corrosion development activities in European vehicle projects and drive progress toward defined targets.
• You will set anti-corrosion goals, break them down into actionable work, and follow through on delivery and verification.
• You will define suitable protection measures for body-in-white and chassis parts based on project needs and corrosion risks.
• You will define salt spray indicators for components and support verification of overall vehicle corrosion resistance.
• You will support vehicle testing, analyze corrosion-related findings, and contribute to issue rectification.
• You will work with overall corrosion risk control across different vehicle models and development phases.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders in areas such as attributes, body, and chassis.
• You will research European environmental conditions, regulations, and user demands to support product decisions.
• You will benchmark competitor solutions and investigate how products perform in the market to identify improvement opportunities.
• You will support the resolution of corrosion issues related to mass-produced vehicles.

• Long experience in vehicle anti-corrosion technology at an automotive company.
• Experience from at least two complete global projects.
• Good understanding of global vehicle anti-corrosion development, including research and development, manufacturing, and transportation.
• Senior-level reporting skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate results and findings clearly with stakeholders and internal customers.
• Willingness to travel as part of the role.

• Chinese language skills.
• Experience of benchmarking competitor vehicles and assessing market performance from a corrosion perspective.
