Business Sweden has more than 50 offices worldwide, and you will operate in a complex and international context. As Head of Finance Transformation & Control, you will be responsible for a team of three finance professionals. Together with the team you will deliver substantial impact for Business Sweden. The role entails both strategic and operational work and you will lead the development of the function supporting strategic objectives.
The role is based at Business Sweden’s Headquarters located in the World Trade Center in Stockholm. You report to the CFO and you are part of the Finance Leadership team. You will work closely with key leaders in the organization.
As Head of Finance Transformation & Control at Business Sweden your job will encompass a diverse range of tasks such as:
Lead the Finance Transformation & Control team and drive the financial transformation agenda in close collaboration with the CFO, business stakeholders, IT, and other finance functions.
Drive and implement change and development initiatives, including finance projects, AI transformation, and system implementations within forecasting, planning, and BI.
Ensure clear accountability, effective cross-functional collaboration across markets and teams, and successful delivery together with internal and external stakeholders.
Together with the team;
Secure a financial systems setup that supports our processes and enables efficient operations
Be a strategic Financial advisor to the organization in financial matters
Hold overall responsibility for the Financial control in Business Sweden and improve process efficiency
Be a catalyst for the Financial AI strategy at Business Sweden
The role is based in Stockholm, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world, as required. All direct reports are based in Stockholm.

Formal requirements
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
At least 10 years of relevant work experience as well as leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential.
High level of expertise within financial reporting, financial processes, tax, VAT.
Experience from consulting, projects, and international environments
High proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, BI tools). Demonstrated AI interest.
Experience of leading system development initiatives, preferably within automation and digitalisation.
You have a high level of proficiency in both English and Swedish.
