OBS: Highly Unusual PA Position. South of Visby.

Spend the summer on Gotland in an entirely unconventional personal assistance role offering part-time hours to start, with the potential to evolve into full-time.

My name is Tom McAlevey, and I am an acquired taste. In brief: New York born, Sweden based, Bandit Rock radio founder, filmmaker, and lifelong adventurer—just Google me if you want more info. Thanks to an old motorcycle accident I recently became a C4 incomplete quadriplegic, meaning I am paralyzed from the neck down but not fully immobilized. I can stand and assist actively, but you must be exceptionally fit, agile, and athletic enough to manage my rigorous daily physical training and handle heavy gear occasionally like wheelchairs. Think keeping a 60 kg, one-armed child alive who happens to have 200 years of life experience, endless opinions, and never shuts up.

You must be a woman, completely free to relocate to Gotland (simple accommodation can be provided), possess a valid driver’s license, and have your own car. Healthcare experience is not required, but you must be a sharp, practical fast-learner capable of managing technical tasks like social media and light secretarial work, on top of rigorous daily exercise routine for me. You will be my literal arms in the world.

For the right person, this summer role could carry a massive kicker: the opportunity to join a long-term global expedition and film project once my custom 4WD Mercedes RV is complete. EU residency is required.
