About the role

A proactive, structured, and hands-on Marketing Manager is now being recruited to translate strategic direction into effective lead generation, marketing, and communication activities.

This is a broad, end-to-end role with a strong commercial focus, where driving lead generation is at the core. In a small and agile company, you will own the full marketing mix, from shaping messaging and planning campaigns to coordinating conferences, always with a data-driven approach and a laser focus on impact.

This role requires a hands-on mindset and a willingness to take initiative, find creative solutions, test and learn, and continuously improve. You will work closely with the rest of the organization but not be part of a large marketing team, which means a high level of ownership and autonomy.

The role is Sweden-based with the expectation to visit the Uppsala office regularly, particularly in the early stages to build relationships and get up to speed with the team. The culture is open, collaborative, and purpose-driven.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute lead generation, marketing campaigns across channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Google, email), including follow-up and optimization.

  • Create and publish content for website, social media, and newsletters, ensuring a consistent brand voice.

  • Develop marketing materials such as presentations, one-pagers, and customer cases.

  • Manage and update website content, with a focus on SEO and conversion.

  • Support planning and execution of conferences, webinars, and marketing activities.

  • Track and analyze marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations.

  • Contribute to brand development, positioning, and overall marketing strategy in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Your profile

You are a hands-on marketer with a strong commercial mindset, equally comfortable crafting compelling scientific messaging and driving activities that directly impact pipeline and revenue. Solid experience across the core areas of the role is essential as this is a position where you will be expected to hit the ground running. You are structured and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, always keeping focus on what matters most. A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine drive to evolve and sharpen marketing efforts will be key to succeeding in this role.

This role is not about creating award-winning design, it is about ensuring that the right audiences understand how Biovica’s solutions can provide actionable insights into treatment effectiveness and ultimately help improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Five years of experience in marketing and digital communication in a B2B setting.

  • Experience in a similar marketing role, preferably from a smaller company within life science or other complex technical environments.

  • Experience with lead generation and supporting sales teams through marketing activities is highly valued.

  • Experience from working with applications and systems such as LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Canva, WordPress, and Google Analytics.

  • Tech-savvy, with a curiosity for exploring new tools, features, and ways of working to continuously improve impact.

  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders and/or working cross-functionally within an organization.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus).

  • Structured, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset, strong drive, and a genuine eagerness to learn and improve.

Desirable qualifications:

  • Experience working within Oncology is considered desirable.

  • Experience working towards the US market, or a good understanding of how the US market operates, is considered an advantage.
