You will join a technically advanced environment focused on connected camera platforms, where wireless communication is a central part of the product experience. In this role, you will contribute to a proof-of-concept and framework development initiative around Wi-Fi Aware (Neighbour Awareness Networking) on Qualcomm-based hardware.

Your work will span both feasibility validation and hands-on implementation. A key part of the assignment is to verify driver support for NAN/NDP and turn those findings into a reusable middleware layer that simplifies how camera applications use Wi-Fi Aware through standard TCP/IP sockets. This is an exciting opportunity for you if you enjoy deep embedded work, wireless protocols, and building practical frameworks that can be reused across products.

• You will validate Qualcomm driver support for Wi-Fi Aware, including NAN and NDP capabilities on camera platforms.
• You will develop a reusable middleware framework that abstracts Wi-Fi Aware functionality for application teams.
• You will expose standard TCP/IP socket interfaces to camera applications to simplify integration and usage.
• You will work hands-on with embedded Linux, Linux networking, and wireless connectivity in a proof-of-concept setting.
• You will investigate technical feasibility and help shape a robust framework for future use.
• You will contribute to topics such as secure pairing, power optimization, and proprietary driver integration.

• Strong expertise in C/C++, embedded Linux, Linux networking, and wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with Qualcomm chipsets, including QCC/QCM series.
• Experience with proprietary driver integration and socket-based middleware development.
• Experience with Wi-Fi Aware/NAN, secure pairing, and power optimization.
• 7+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• A proven track record of delivering reusable middleware frameworks and technical feasibility studies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience in consumer electronics, cameras, or IoT devices.
