Husqvarna is strengthening its R&D team with a Mechanical Engineer focused on electric motor development for battery-powered handheld products.
The team consists of 15 members, with a strong mix of mechatronics and electronics expertise. Some of the engineers focus on mechatronics, covering wiring harnesses, electric motors, housings, and thermal management of the electronics unit. And some engineers specialize in electronics development, responsible for designing and developing the electronic systems. Together, the team has full responsibility for the powertrain of battery-powered handheld products.
Role description
The role has responsibility for requirements definition, supplier coordination, and verification of electric motors primarily developed by external partners. You will act as technical owner internally, ensuring performance, quality, and lifecycle requirements are met, and that solutions are correctly documented and integrated.
