WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a motivated Project Leader who will lead expansion projects end-to-end, turning complexity into clear plans and actions, making things better.
You have:
• Ability to see, listen to, and understand complexity while navigating a dynamic business environment
• A broad understanding of the IKEA value chain and IKEA Retail operations and development
• Strong insight of the consumer, customer, and co-worker needs, demands, and expectations throughout the shopping experience
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, able to engage internal and external stakeholders
• The ability to identify gaps between stores and continuous improvement every day
• A strong background in LEAN, focusing on continuous process improvement and operational excellence
• Motivated by the IKEA vision, making IKEA more affordable, accessible, and sustainable
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role as Project Leader for Area & Expansion you will:
• Lead expansion projects end-to-end in the country, ensuring scope, alignment, timeline, risk and consequences, always at the lowest cost and highest quality
• Enable successful change management through clear communication, alignment, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead and coordinate project resources to secure successful delivery
• Ensure alignment with global and country strategies, and manage dependencies across projects
