The Integrated Solutions Process Engineer is responsible for collaboratively developing and maintaining bioprocess solutions—ranging from individual unit operations to complete workflows—utilizing Cytiva products and services. These solutions aim to enhance customers' capabilities in building and expanding their manufacturing platforms.

This position reports to the Product manager for FlexFactroy and Integrated solutions and is part of the Integrated solutions manufacturing capacity solutions team located in Uppsala Sweden and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Develop integrated bioprocess solutions, spanning from one unit operation to full end-to- end manufacturing platform (FlexFactory) offerings using expertise in process development and biomanufacturing across upstream and downstream workflows. This includes:
• Create mass balances, equipment lists, workflows, and system configurations with Cytiva’s modeling tools.
• Integrate single-use consumables, equipment, and facility needs into system solutions that are ready to deploy.
• Design and interpret suite and facility layouts considering process, personnel, material, and waste flows.
• Identify portfolio gaps and collaborate cross-functionally to address them.
• Support and drive verification testing of integrated solutions.
• Cross function collaboration with commercial, development, digital, service, and other relevant teams to design unified offerings.
• Provide technical support during customer discussions and sales cycles to define process requirements.
• Contribute to technical content for marketing purposes, including process descriptions, value propositions, and solution positioning.

Who you are:

• Degree in engineering or life sciences (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomanufacturing, or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in bioprocess engineering, process development, or cGMP biomanufacturing.
• Experience with process modeling, mass balance development, or process economics tools.
• Experience with single‑use bioprocess technologies, consumables, and biomanufacturing equipment ecosystems.
• Experience generating or interpreting facility layouts, equipment workflows, or process flow diagrams.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience supporting commercial technical engagements or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Experience developing technical or marketing content for bioprocess solutions.
• Experience working with EPC firms or participating in facility design activities.
