At Hitachi Energy, we are now looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team within Grid Automation Sweden. With us, you will work with advanced technology and substation automation while contributing to a sustainable and secure energy future.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Design relay and control systems for substations in close collaboration with customers and project teams
• Play a central role in projects and lead the electrical design, contributing technical expertise and innovative solutions
• Work closely with our international engineering teams in India and the Czech Republic to ensure the highest quality and efficiency
• Be part of a culture driven by safety, quality, and innovation
• Engage in networks and knowledge sharing, where we support and develop one another

Your background

• Min 5 years of experience in electrical design within transmission and distribution projects
• Experience using EPC ElMaster for drafting and design
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset – you identify opportunities, enjoy collaborating with others and can easily take lead when needed.
• A university degree or vocational (YH) education in electrical or other relevant technical field (considered an advantage)
