Shape SAP user adoption with WalkMe by combining digital guidance, SAP process knowledge, and test automation

Assignment Overview

This consulting assignment offers the opportunity to work within a large, well-established organisation with a strong focus on digitalisation, quality, and user experience. The SAP environment is business‑critical, continuously evolving, and used by a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation.

You will play a key role in driving SAP user adoption by designing intuitive WalkMe in-app guidance, supporting test automation, and ensuring stable solutions across SAP upgrades. The assignment combines hands-on delivery with close collaboration across SAP, QA, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

WalkMe Implementation & Configuration

• Design and build WalkMe content (Smart Walk‑Thrus, tooltips, launchers, validations)
• Configure in‑app guidance for SAP transactions and SAP Fiori apps
• Maintain and optimize WalkMe solutions throughout the assignment period

SAP Process & Business Understanding

• Analyze SAP business processes and workflows
• Translate SAP system logic into guided user experiences
• Ensure WalkMe flows align with SAP behaviour and releases

Test Automation & QA Support

• Validate WalkMe solutions across SAP updates and deployments
• Support regression testing related to SAP changes
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure automation stability

User Experience & Adoption

• Improve SAP usability through contextual guidance
• Reduce user errors, support needs, and training time
• Monitor and analyze user behaviour via WalkMe analytics

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with SAP functional consultants (FI, MM, SD, etc.)
• Gather and clarify requirements from business users
• Communicate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze adoption data and optimize WalkMe content
• Identify gaps in user journeys and propose improvements

Skills & Experience

Must have

• Hands-on experience with WalkMe or similar Digital Adoption Platforms
• Experience working with SAP systems
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and SAP UI navigation
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Understanding of web‑based applications and DOM structure
• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have

• Experience with test scenarios or regression testing
• Ability to identify defects and usability issues
• Experience collaborating with SAP functional teams
• Swedish language skills
