Key responsibilities:

Operational Coordination

• Distribute tasks within the team based on skills, sequence, and production needs.
• Ensure that materials, tools, and equipment are in place so that work can be carried out without disruption.
• Support colleagues with technical questions related to the assembly of components in our heat pumps.
• Handle minor deviations and escalate to the production manager when needed.

Daily Production

• Monitor daily production pace and report any obstacles to the production manager.
• Verify that work is carried out in accordance with drawings, instructions, and quality requirements.
• Conduct quality checks and participate in initial troubleshooting.

Safety & Order

• Lead by example when it comes to safety routines and the correct use of protective equipment.
• Ensure that workstations are well maintained and that a tidy, organized environment is upheld.
• Report risks, incidents, and deviations in our digital tool.

Team Support & Development

• Onboard and mentor new team members.
• Follow up on competency matrices and contribute to optimal staffing together with the production manager.
• Foster a positive team spirit and resolve challenges in collaboration with the team.

To succeed in this role, you will need

Technical Skills:

• Experience in assembly and a strong technical understanding.
• Solid practical understanding of manufacturing production and its workflows.
• Ability to read drawings and follow technical specifications.
• Good computer skills with confident use of the Office suite. We work in Monitor G5. Experience of this system or a similar production system is an advantage.

Leadership:

• Clear communication skills and the ability to create structure.
• Ability to support and guide colleagues in day-to-day work.
• Experience as a team leader, instructor, senior operator, or similar role, with a proven track record of leading larger groups of people.

• Calm and clear-headed under pressure.
• Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and responsible.

The primary language in Åstorp production is Swedish, both spoken and written, though you should be able to communicate in English as we operate in an international environment.

Terms of Employment

The position is based in Åstorp, with initial working hours Monday to Friday, 07: 00–16:00. Shift work may become relevant in the future.
