We’re now looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data & Data Science team and play a key role in our data journey. In this role, you’ll help ensure that data truly drives better decisions across Qliro, by building and maintaining business-critical data products on our modern data platform.

• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines that extract and transform data into Snowflake

• Own and continuously improve Qliro’s core dbt layer, which sits at the heart of our data products

• Develop and support our cloud infrastructure

• Develop and support both internal and external data products that are critical to the business

• Work with event-driven data engineering in a modern, cloud-based tech stack

• Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across the data platform

• Collaborate closely with analytics, data science, and business stakeholders to turn data into value

You are passionate about solving complex business problems and building high-quality data products at speed. You continuously look for ways to improve — whether it’s pipelines, models, or ways of working — and enjoy learning new tools and techniques together with your team.

You’re analytical and logical, and able to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You have a strong track record of using data to create business value, ideally within financial services or related industries.

• Have strong experience working with SQL

• Have hands-on experience with Python

• Have experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses

• Are comfortable working with Git and modern development workflows

• Are fluent in English, both spoken and written

• Have worked with dbt in production environments

• Have worked with integrating AI into processes

• Have worked with the AWS framework

• Have experience developing microservices
