Arbetsbeskrivning
I’m looking for an engaged and responsible person who wants to become an important part of my personal assistance team!
I’m an active 26-year-old woman living with a muscle condition (Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 3). I have no cognitive impairments and live an independent life together with my fiancé in central Stockholm.
The role involves supporting me in everyday life — at home, at work, and during leisure activities such as travel and social events. As my assistant, you’ll be an enabler, not a caregiver. You help make daily life run smoothly while contributing to a safe and pleasant environment.
About the Role
This is not a traditional assistant job where you simply follow a checklist. It’s a role where you become a natural part of everyday life and a partner in making everything work.
You will:
Support daily routines such as personal care, dressing, and household tasks
Assist during work and activities outside the home
Handle practical tasks such as transfers, simple cooking, and household administration
Adapt to a lifestyle that can be calm at times and more eventful at others
Help with basic hair styling (e.g., curling hair)
Be involved in travel or spontaneous activities
Who I’m Looking For
For me, the most important thing is not your experience or qualifications — it’s who you are as a person and that you have your heart in the right place.
You are someone who:
Is independent and detail-oriented, yet attentive — you take initiative and responsibility but ask when unsure
Has a sense of when to stay in the background and when to step in
Can handle the shift between calm and more intense days
Is careful, flexible, and has a positive outlook on life
Is a team player who supports others and contributes to a safe and friendly work environment
Requirements
Female, approximately 20–40 years old
Strong Swedish or English skills
Good physical strength, as manual transfers are part of the role (with proper technique)
Flexible and available, preferably able to step in on short notice when needed
Interest in hair care and styling, as you will assist with simple everyday styling (e.g., curling hair)
Not afraid of or allergic to dogs, as I have a puppy
Previous experience as a personal assistant is a plus, but not required
