Who is your future team You will be a part of our Product Audio development team, and in your team role seamlessly interact with SW audio engineers, acoustical engineers, mechanical engineers and other parts of our organization. Together this team act as a competence hub and deliver world class audio solutions for a growing number of new network devices at Axis.

The role You will be part of a team designing cutting-edge electronics audio solutions that will power the next era of our intelligent security systems. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting the high-fidelity, robust audio experiences that perfectly complement our world-leading video technology. In the product audio development team, you will design our innovative electronics audio solutions.

What you will do You will work with electrical audio design development, and through reference designs support product projects. You will design solutions, and you will verify and validate them. You will take also contribute to a larger picture, designing the whole audio solution in our devices. You take part in cross functional project teams with other competence categories like software, mechanics, and product management. You will collaborate with many camera teams in the company as well as the core technology departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electronic Circuit Design: Develop, simulate, and validate analog and digital electronic circuits for audio products, including amplifiers, power supplies, interfaces, and signal conditioning.
• PCB Layout & Optimization: Collaborate on PCB layout, ensuring signal integrity, EMC/EMI compliance, and thermal management for high-performance audio.
• Component Selection & Evaluation: Research and select optimal electronic components based on performance, cost, availability, and reliability criteria.
• Prototyping & Testing: Build and test hardware prototypes, performing detailed electrical measurements and acoustic evaluations to verify design specifications.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues, including noise, distortion, power efficiency, and connectivity problems.

Who are you? We're looking for an audio enthusiast with a proven track record in designing complete audio solutions. You thrive on seeing your innovative concepts evolve into world-class products that reach our end customers. Candidates typically hold a Master's degree in Electronics or a similar field, complemented by at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

We'd be excited to see if you have experience in one or more of these areas.

• Audio System Design: Experience with the full lifecycle of audio product development, from concept to production.
• Digital Signal Processing (DSP): Understanding of DSP concepts and their hardware implementation for audio applications.
• Acoustics Knowledge: Basic understanding of acoustics and loudspeaker characteristics.
