At Axis we are now looking for an experienced electronics engineer to join us at our HQ in Lund, Sweden.

Who is your future team?

At Axis, collaboration and knowledge sharing are key to our success. As part of our R&D organization, you will work alongside 14 talented electronics engineers who support and learn from one another while developing innovative, world-class products.

The team is responsible for electronics development across four product areas: mechanical accessories, explosion-protected cameras, thermal cameras, and specialty cameras.

What you'll do as an experienced electronics engineer

Together with your colleagues and project team, you design and develop camera electronics hardware, taking products from early concept development through verification and validation to volume production.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead feasibility- and prestudies, requirements analysis and system architecture design
• Lead technical decision-making and address complex engineering challenges
• Design, develop, and verify analog and digital hardware solutions
• Review and support PCB layout and implementation
• Drive hardware validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• Coordinate certification and regulatory compliance activities
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure successful product introduction and production support

Who are you?

You are a passionate electronics engineer who enjoys turning ideas into high-quality products. You hold a relevant university degree and have solid experience in electronics design and product development.

You thrive in a collaborative environment characterized by trust, openness, and a strong team spirit. You enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and working together to solve complex technical challenges. You are comfortable driving electronics design discussions, making technical decisions, and guiding development activities within cross-functional projects.

You have solid experience designing electronics for embedded products and taking designs from concept through production.

Most importantly, you are motivated by seeing your ideas evolve into world-class products that create value for customers around the world.
