🌟 The role

As an Embedded Engineer at ICT Additude, you will work as a consultant in our clients product development teams from early concept to finished solution. You will collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders on site, contributing to the design, development and testing of software for a wide range of embedded systems.

Your assignments will vary depending on client, industry and phase of development. In each assignment, you are expected to contribute with technical expertise, a structured approach and a collaborative mindset that strengthens the team and supports steady progress throughout the development process.

🔍⚙️ Who we are looking for

We are looking for an Embedded Engineer with solid experience in C and or C++ development within embedded environments, and a strong understanding of systems running Linux or RTOS. You are comfortable working with software architecture, analyzing complex systems and resolving technical challenges in both new and existing product development.

As a consultant, you thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with different teams and stakeholders. You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly in both Swedish and English and contribute with a structured, solution oriented mindset. Sharing knowledge and supporting team progress comes naturally to you.

👉 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT or related field

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in embedded software development using C and/or C++

• Solid experience working with embedded systems running RTOS or Linux

• Experience from multiple projects and/or companies within embedded systems

• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English

• Willingness to work on-site with clients in the Skåne region

🌈 Bonus Points

• Experience with Rust, Qt or similar technologies

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell or Perl

• Familiarity with tools such as GDB, Git and Gerrit

• Experience in test automation
