You will join an engineering team focused on product improvements and design changes for power solution engines already in production. The work is close to real products, real quality issues, and real production needs, which means you get to solve concrete technical challenges that affect quality, cost, and long-term performance.

The assignment covers design work across different engine-related areas within the organization. You will work in a cross-functional automotive environment where product changes need to be investigated, anchored, and implemented with care after SOP. This role suits you if you enjoy combining deep design knowledge with ownership, follow-up, and close collaboration with production and quality teams. What makes this assignment especially interesting is the chance to influence product changes all the way from pre-study to implemented solution in a complex engine environment.

• You drive PCR assignments independently, from pre-study and development through follow-up and closure.
• You act as a design resource and, in some cases, assignment manager for FQ cases.
• You support production and Q-team work with design activities and assignment coordination.
• You perform technical investigations within EFR and help ensure decisions are taken by the right authorized stakeholders.
• You support or create cost calculations and KPI for relevant activities.
• You take responsibility for introduced product changes, including warranty cost and production quality after SOP.
• You stay in close contact with line groups and keep stakeholders informed.
• You contribute actively to continuous improvement work in line with R&D and UCP strategic plans.

• You have 10+ years of design experience in an automotive product development environment.
• You have strong experience with 3D Experience, OAS, and Catia v5.
• You have experience in chassis, engine, and/or electrical design.
• You know relevant development and production processes, including EFR, PCR, and PR.
• You have experience working as a drawing reviewer.
• You are comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and staying structured in a fast-paced cross-functional setting.
• You communicate fluently in English.
