You will join a design team focused on product improvements and changes for power solution engines in production. The work spans a broad technical scope and can involve any part of the engine, with a strong focus on improving quality, reducing cost, and solving production-related issues after start of production.

This is a hands-on role for you who enjoy turning complex change requests into robust design solutions. You will work close to production, quality, and cross-functional stakeholders, with real influence on product changes that affect both performance and long-term quality. What makes this assignment especially interesting is the combination of technical depth, ownership, and direct impact on products already in production.

• You will independently drive and solve Product Change Request assignments, from pre-study through development and follow-up to closure.
• You will act as a design resource and, in some cases, assignment manager for field quality cases.
• You will support production and quality teams with design work and coordination related to production issues.
• You will contribute to cost calculations and KPI work connected to product changes and improvement activities.
• You will carry out technical investigations within Exemption From Requirement cases.
• You will take an active role in continuous improvement within the team.
• You will be responsible for introduced product changes, including follow-up on warranty cost and production quality after start of production.
• You will collaborate with and inform relevant line functions and make sure decisions are taken by the right stakeholders in EFR cases.
• You will align your work with strategic R&D and improvement plans.

• 10+ years of design experience.
• Experience working with design in chassis, engine, and electrical areas.
• Strong experience with 3D Experience, OAS, and Catia V5.
• Experience with relevant engineering processes, including EFR, PCR, and PR.
• Experience as a drawing reviewer.
• You are comfortable working independently and driving assignments forward with structure and ownership.
• English is required.
