Assignment Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale, complex initiatives within a dynamic and highly regulated environment. The role focuses on driving IT and business transformation projects, supporting development initiatives, and managing assignments involving multiple stakeholders across both public and organizational domains.

The consultant will play a critical role in executing strategic programs, ensuring alignment with operational goals, and enabling effective collaboration between business and IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
• Establish and refine structured ways of working, including standardized processes, governance models, and meeting frameworks
• Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities, ensuring alignment with scope and objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business owners to define priorities and support tactical and operational planning
• Provide regular updates and insights to steering committees and key decision-makers
• Drive cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and departments
• Support and mentor teams, enabling them to perform effectively and achieve project goals
• Facilitate organizational change and ensure successful adoption of new processes and solutions

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Approximately 8–10+ years of experience in managing large-scale and complex projects/programs
• Proven ability to deliver outcomes that balance both business and IT objectives
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum principles and practices
• Solid experience in business analysis and requirements gathering
• Demonstrated capability in driving organizational change across varying levels of digital maturity
• Experience in establishing governance frameworks, prioritization models, and delivery structures
• High level of independence with the ability to take ownership of major project components
• Strong communication skills in Swedish (native level required)

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:

• Experience in business architecture and system architecture collaboration
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Antura, and PPS frameworks
• Knowledge of testing strategies and documentation practices
• Experience working with public sector organizations or government-related projects
• Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance-driven environments
• Experience managing programs with parallel implementations
• Proven ability to align and integrate business and IT functions in large transformation initiatives
• Strong background in communication and change management practices

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
