You will join a chassis and vehicle dynamics environment focused on current and future platform concepts in automotive development. The assignment centers on how suspension and chassis systems should perform, fit, and evolve across concept studies, with a strong connection between package, kinematics, and industrialization.

You will work closely with both the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team and related attribute teams to align requirements across areas such as NVH, vehicle dynamics, durability, corrosion, and brakes. You will represent suspension and chassis systems in packaging and project forums, while turning technical needs into concept parts, models, and analyses that support platform decisions. This is a strong opportunity for you if you enjoy combining concept engineering, CAD, and analytical work in early platform development.

• You support studies of current and future platform concepts together with the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team.
• You collaborate with chassis, vehicle dynamics, and attribute teams to align suspension system performance.
• You represent suspension and chassis systems in packaging and project meetings.
• You create and update concept and platform parts in CAD with consideration for industrialization.
• You build and analyze kinematic models for package studies.
• You organize and maintain engineering data in TeamCenter.
• You perform Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) analysis on suspension layouts.

• Minimum B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3-year experience from chassis system development.
• A strong understanding of technical development of chassis systems and concepts.
• Ability to balance attribute requirements, mainly NVH, vehicle dynamics, durability, corrosion, and brakes.
• Experience of multiple suspension systems layouts.
• Experience with MS Office, Catia V5, Catia V5 DMU Kinematics, TeamCenter, Adams, and Matlab Simulink.
• Solid and surface CAD competence in CATIA.
• Experience working as an author in Team Center Automotive.
