YOUR PROFILE

You should be enthusiastic and motivated by working in an entrepreneurial environment with a fast pace. You are a strong and motivating team player. You need to be proactive and flexible, and motivated by finding solutions to a variety of issues, including those that are not always planned. It is important that you are able to priorities effectively and feel comfortable managing a high workload.

You have a background as a Marine Engineer or Master Mariner, preferably with experience on smaller vessels. You also have in-depth marine experience, ideally gained both onboard and ashore within the wind or oil and gas industry. In addition to this, you also have a degree in economics, preferably from the univirsity.

You also need good knowledge of efficient technical operation, development and upgrading of vessels. Strong planning skills and the ability to implement strategies, plans and procedures in your day-to-day work. You need to have good knowledge of budget planning and procurement processes and good understanding of company management systems and the ability to apply them in daily operations. You also need to be fluent in English and one Scandinavian language, both written and spoken and have a driver’s licence.

YOUR TASKS

• Ensure that assigned vessels are maintained in optimal condition at all times, with crews receiving the necessary support to comply with classification society and flag state requirements.
• Operate within the approved annual budget and contribute to long-term financial planning through the development of five-year maintenance strategies
• Conduct regular visits to assigned vessels to perform technical inspections, monitor maintenance standards, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise shipyard periods, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Identify, manage, and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Oversee and support onboard engineering teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) for assigned vessels.
• Maintain close collaboration with internal departments, including Crewing, HSSE-Q, Chartering, and Purchasing.
• Ensure that all vessels operate in compliance with safety and environmental regulations and company standards.
• Provide technical support outside regular office hours when required.
